Home2 Suites by Hilton is the newest addition to the Hilton brands, and it's an extended-stay hotel concept. This property was the fifth opened (national) and second Utah location in October, 2011. The hotel began construction in January 2011; although the design process started in May 2010. The property is located at 4028 West Parkway Boulevard, West Valley City,UT. The 79-suite, four-story hotel features an indoor saline swimming pool, an indoor whirlpool and three different room layouts, with 10 king studio suites, 16 double queen studio suites and 53 single queen studio suites.
I was involved in the design, specification and project management of the interior (wall vinyl, carpet, paint, lighting, lighting design, furniture for interior and exterior, furniture design, fabrics, accessories, window treatments, built-in finishes, other wall finishes, tile, etc) as well as the installation. This project owns my heart. The owners and management people of this property are amazing, truly the best of best.
